Games on macOS, iOS, watchOS and tvOS can use the Game Center, the Apple social network. What is game center Android?
Prior to iOS 10, the Game Center was an Apple gaming social network that connected through your iCloud account: it was built around an independent app that lets you add friends, challenge their high scores and invite them to play. Perhaps it was never a great social network – but it was already there.
When Apple updated the application as part of its 2016 software update, the company transformed Game Center into an optional third-party game integration service. Unfortunately, by doing this, Apple paralyzed many Game Center features.
How can I check if the game supports Game Center?
Unfortunately, the app download page doesn’t have a badge saying it supports Game Center: you’ll need to download it to confirm. However, if the game has an iMessage application, it definitely supports Game Center.
Open the game after downloading it.
If Game Center is supported, the Game Center banner will appear at the top of the screen.
You’ll also have access to leaderboards and the like by finding the Game Center button. (Looks different in every application).
How to display your achievements
If you collect achievements while playing, you should be able to view all your achievements from within the application.
- Launch the game from the home screen.
- Press the achievement button. Each game will have a different location, and some may use a different icon; many games use trophy icons for achievements.
- Tap the achievements tab.
NOTE: Not all games will have achievements; the inclusion of this feature in the game depends on the programmer.
How to view result tables

How to add and remove friends from the Game Center
You can see your friends in Game Center Settings and you can delete them individually, but you can’t add them manually.
How to add friends
Adding friends is managed individually for individual games via iMessage. Your game may or may not support this feature.
- Find the Add Friends In Game button, if it exists or is supported, and tap it.
- Send an invitation to your friend via iMessage, inviting him to play.
It is more likely that you will see the option to invite friends through integration with Facebook; it doesn’t connect to the Game Center, but offers game developers an alternative way to connect friends to play.
How to remove friends
You can manually remove friends individually from the Settings application.
- Run Settings on your iPhone or iPad.
- Scroll down and tap Game Center.
- Tap on [X number] friends.
- Press the red minus button on the friend you want to delete.
- Press the red delete button when it appears.
